Pre-Tryout Camp

MN Steel Hockey Club Pre-Tryout Camp offers intensive, high-quality training sessions that focus on enhancing players' skills, confidence, and readiness for tryouts. Our experienced coaches aim to fully prepare athletes for the competitive season ahead. Join us to gain a competitive edge and achieve your hockey goals.

Ages

Players will register for the levels they will be competing at for the upcoming 2024-25 season.

When

Pre-Tryout Camp starts Sept. 1st and goes to September 22nd.

Where

Practice will be held at Waconia Ice Arena.

Practices

Skaters: 3 to 4 practices per week

Goalies: 2 to 3 practices per week (Goalie Training). Goalies can attend the skater sessions as well.

Extra Costs

Goalies that register for the full program can attend the skater sessions at no additional cost. Goalies that don't sign up for the entire program will have to pay to attend skater sessions.

Yes, athletes may register for individual sessions.

2024 Pre-Tryout Camp

Players will attend sessions they will attend sessions they will be trying out this upcoming season.

September 1st to September 22nd.

Bantams, Peewees, U12, Squirts, & U10

Skaters:

*12 Hours On-Ice Training

*Full Program: $360 ($50 Late Fee)

Goalies:

*10 Hours On-Ice Training plus 12 Hours of Skater Sessions to see shots.

*Fee: $475 ($50 Late Fee) - Goalies that register for the entire program can attend skater sessions are no additiona cost.
