Admin

  • Location: Remote 

  • Type: Part-Time 

  • Overview:

    • Support team communications with families and coaches.

    • Work with rinks to reserve ice times and verify schedules.

    • Update and maintain team schedules across platforms.

    • Respond to general questions from players, families, and staff.

    • Coordinate with tournament directors for registration, scheduling, and event logistics.

    • Strong communication, organizational, and administrative skills required.

    • Typical workload: 2–10 hours per week (seasonal variation).

Boys Director

  • Location: West Metro, MN

  • Type: Part-Time / Seasonal

  • Overview:

    • Lead and manage all aspects of the MN Steel Boys AAA program.

    • Oversee player recruitment and player engagement year-round.

    • Assess player development and create skill progression paths.

    • Lead and implement improvements to strengthen player training and systems.

    • Continually update and enhance player development programming.

    • Determine team levels of play and make player placement decisions.

    • Organize and lead tryouts for Boys AAA teams.

    • Promote the MN Steel AAA program and represent MN Steel at events.

Girls Director

  • Location: West Metro, MN

  • Type: Part-Time / Seasonal

  • Overview:

    • Lead and manage all aspects of the MN Steel Girls AAA program.

    • Oversee player recruitment and player engagement year-round.

    • Assess player development and create skill progression paths.

    • Lead and implement improvements to strengthen player training and systems.

    • Continually update and enhance player development programming.

    • Determine team levels of play and make player placement decisions.

    • Organize and lead tryouts for Boys AAA teams.

Skills Coach

  • Location: West Metro, MN

  • Type: Part-Time

  • Overview:

    • Seeking specialized coaches in the following areas:

      • Skating

      • Stickhandling

      • Shooting and Passing

    • Improve player development plans across all age groups.

    • Develop practice plans for each skill group and level.

    • Identify areas where players are lacking and create targeted development strategies.

    • Lead high-intensity skills sessions designed for maximum player engagement and progress.

AAA Coach

  • Location: West Metro, MN

  • Type: Seasonal / Tournament-Based

  • Overview:

    • Assist in selecting teams and evaluating players.

    • Help recruit players into the MN Steel AAA program.

    • Focus on Hockey IQ development — teaching players to read the game and make smart decisions.

    • Develop practice plans featuring drills that mirror real game situations and patterns.

    • Work closely with Directors and Skills Coaches to identify skill gaps and improve player development.

    • Communicate regularly with AAA families to provide updates, feedback, and support.
