Performance Invite Training

Performance Invite Training

Performance Invite Training (PIT) is an invite-only training environment for players who have demonstrated the ability to train at a higher pace, execute details consistently, and compete every rep.

This is not open registration. Invitations are extended to athletes who have shown readiness for increased standards through performance, habits, and coach evaluation.

PIT is designed to push pace, execution, and decision-making in a highly competitive setting.

NOTE: Registration will be sent out to only athletes invited.

What Performance Invite Training Is

  • Invite-only, small-group training

  • High-tempo, game-speed reps

  • Advanced execution and decision-making

  • Competitive, demanding environment

  • Minimal instruction, maximum reps

This is where players are challenged, not accommodated.

What Performance Invite Training Is Not

  • Not a camp

  • Not a tryout

  • Not a development clinic for beginners

  • Not guaranteed or open enrollment

PIT exists to raise the ceiling, not widen the floor.

Who Performance Invite Training Is For

Performance Invite Training is for athletes who:

  • Consistently compete at a high level

  • Execute skills at game speed

  • Demonstrate strong practice habits

  • Respond well to correction

  • Elevate the pace of the group

This environment is intentionally demanding and is not the right fit for every athlete.

How Athletes Are Invited

Invitations are extended based on:

  • Performance within PDP programs

  • Practice habits and compete level

  • Coach evaluation and recommendation

  • Demonstrated readiness for higher standards

  • High level of play

Athletes may be identified through:

  • Future Prospects (as athletes progress)

  • Small Group Training

  • Minnesota Steel evaluations

  • Staff Recruits & Recommendations

There is no application process. Invites are earned.

Program Structure

  • Format: Invite-only

  • Group Size: Limited to protect pace and quality

  • Focus Areas:

    • Execution under pressure

    • Decision-making at speed

    • Compete level and consistency

    • Situational awareness

    • Skill Development

Sessions are run at a pace that mirrors high-level game environments.

Training Locations

Performance Invite Training sessions are offered at:

  • TBD

Location availability depends on ice and athlete grouping.

Standards & Accountability

  • Enrollment is limited

  • Invitations may be revoked if standards are not met

  • Continued participation is based on effort, pace, and fit

This ensures Performance Invite Training remains a true high-performance environment.

Interested in Performance Invite Training?

Athletes are not able to register directly for PIT.
